What should I do.???

What should I do to be on the top of the Google SERP this week. This blog is part of our final exam and who’s ranked at the top with the keyword “CompSci280” will be awarded by a high grade. I don’t have any idea how to optimize this blog but a friend of mine and some of our mentors are telling us to submit this blog in some social bookmarking sites. It really help a lot in increasing the page rank of the blog or a website. Another way is to submit your blog or site in some free directory submission but it is not guaranteed that you will be listed, but it helps you anyways. 

My friend of mine suggested me to have another blog and have a cross link between them. I hope I will be on the top of the Google
